Introducing our Programme Commitee


The Call for Papers is almost over and we are proud to introduce our programme committee. These great brains will evaluate the submissions and help us put together an amazing programme. Here comes our talented committee:

Jim Jagielski, a well known and acknowledged expert and visionary in Open Source and IT, is one of the developers and co-founders of the Apache Software Foundation and has served as President and Chairman.

Myrle Krantz, CTO of Zingr and Vice President of Apache Fineract, has more than 20 years experience as a developer. She is passionate about bringing financial services to the unbanked in the Caribbean with the help of her digital remittance company Zingr.

Sander van der Waal, Head of Network and Partnerships at Open Knowledge International, focuses on strengthening connections between the projects at OKI and the wider Open Knowledge Network.

Lydia Pintscher, president of KDE e.V., a non-profit supporting one of the largest free software communities. She is also the product manager of Wikidata and editor of Open Advice, a book for getting people started in all areas of free software.

Sharan Foga, Vice President Apache Community Development at the Apache Software Foundation, is also an Independent Project Management Consultant and author, who enjoys working on ways to enable and improve community collaboration.

Tobias Gesellchen, published expert on Docker and developer at Europace AG, who likes to focus on DevOps cultural and engineering wise.

Henri Yandell, Apache member, once active on various Apache Java projects and known for launching the Apache Attic. He organizes Open Source at work and focuses his spare time on his family.

Michael Kesper, Coordinator at the Free Software Foundation Europe in Bonn.

Isabel Drost-Fromm, founder of FOSS Backstage and Open Source Strategist at Europace AG, is a member and former Director of the Apache Software Foundation as well as founder and PMC member of Apache Mahout.

Stefan Rudnitzki, founder of FOSS Backstage and Lead Developer at Europace AG Germany, is also co-organizer of MongoDB usergroup Berlin and Async Cat Herding meetup Berlin.
